Huntsville, you showed up in the best way for our first-ever Rocket City Gift Card Design Contest! This community-wide celebration of creativity brought in a beautiful collection of artwork inspired by the innovation, heritage, and imagination of Rocket City.

We were blown away by the talent, the heart, and the stories behind each submission. Narrowing down the finalists was incredibly difficult — the level of artistry and passion in our local creative community continues to amaze us.

🏆 1st Place Winner: Everett Merian

Artwork Title: Anyone Got a Stamp?
Everett’s artwork captured the judges’ attention immediately with its creativity, composition, and unique interpretation of Rocket City. The piece will be featured on the 2025–2026 Limited Edition Huntsville Art Supplies Gift Card, available in-store.

Everett will also receive a $300 Huntsville Art Supplies Gift Card, and we look forward to showcasing the original piece on our Art Wall located on the outside wall of Huntsville Art Supplies.  This piece is for sale!

💛 People’s Choice Award: Lexie Robinson

Artwork Title: Huntsville: From Cotton to Constellations
Lexie’s piece stole the hearts of our community, earning the most votes both online and in person. The combination of history and cosmic imagination resonated deeply with Rocket City residents.

Lexie will receive a $100 Huntsville Art Supplies Gift Card, and her work will be featured across our social media channels as the official People’s Choice Winner.
