They have just enough natural wax added to maintain a solid stick form. Pigment Sticks let you get rid of the brush allowing you to work more directly on your surface. Transform the way you paint! Pigment sticks are oil paints manufactured with enough wax for the paint to be molded into a stick form, allowing the painter to draw or paint directly onto a surface without brushes, palettes, paint tubes or solvents. These pigment sticks are made in small batches, carefully milled and molded using beeswax and natural plant wax, linseed oil and pigment. This set includes one each of Turkey umber greenish, Naples yellow, cadmium green pale, Turkey red, kings blue and neutral white.
