Ann Moeller - Portrait Sketching and Painting Class

Here are Ann's Recommended Supplies for the Portrait Sketching and Painting Class (Note if you haven't signed up for the class yet, feel free to sign up here):

Sketching Supplies

  • Newspaper Print Sketch Paper
  • Fine art paper
    • Bristol Paper - Vellum Smooth
  • Vine Charcoal (Soft or Medium)

Painting Supplies: 

  • Dark Brown Oil Paint such as burnt umber or raw umber or asphaltum or transparent oxide brown (or your favorite brown).  Ann will be using Rembrandt's Transparent Oxide Brown
  • Titanium White
  • Gamsol - Odorless Mineral Spirits in a contaner
  • Paper Towels
  • Q-Tips
  • Ampersand Gessobord of your size preference
  • Your favorite brushes or come into Huntsville Art Supplies and feel the brushes to find your favorite!
