The Painter’s Color Diary® has a fail-proof layout that allows you to record swatch information for future reference.
There are countless ways to use the Painter's Color Diary®. Some examples are:
- Swatching new color purchases
- Testing color transparency and opacity
- Creating color mixing formulas
- Testing color palettes for an upcoming painting
The color diary is spiral-bound with removable pages so that you can work on multiple sheets simultaneously. Once dry, you can reinsert the pages between layers of the included glassine, so they don’t stick together. The top of each color chart has a space for writing the paint brand, the date, or an assignment title if it’s for class. Each swatch box contains a bold black line to show transparency or separate half-tones.
The color diary is truly a game changer when it comes to planning the mood of a painting. It’s a remarkable resource to have.
